(exhibition countdown)
Hi again;
There is a draft post with some drawings around Covent Garden I’m hoping to publish soon. But it’s been freezing lately, my fingers can’t work when they turn to ice and I don’t have enough drawings yet, so it will have to wait a bit longer.
In the meantime I am writing to let you know that we are, indeed, preparing for an exhibition. My classmates and I will be putting our work on display at the Copeland Gallery in Peckham. In just a few weeks.
And … we’ve been asked to let the world know, so they (YOU) can come along and feast their (YOUR) eyes (and minds) on our work.
I’m sure it will be a fantastic display. If only I knew what I’m going to be exhibiting…
For now, I can tell you the general theme will be «What if». I am considering presenting some drawings, illustrations, prints… Or something completely different.
I’m not ready yet: I’m planning. Preparing. Testing how to communicate an idea effectively. Giving some thought to the pieces I’ll be exhibiting and … pondering how this last year has changed me in more ways than I had anticipated.
Anyhow, if you’d like to know about our group exhibition, the place to go is Copeland Gallery in Peckham. We’ll start setting up in April. I promise I’ll have something good on display there between the 4th and 8th April.
Fingers crossed.
